Make it a Demon Night to remember and party On a Deadman’s Chest until you’re a Mournin’ Mess while enjoying fine food with adult beverages at our 12th Annual Monster Mash for Literacy Bash. \nDownload the flyer (link opens a .pdf) \nThis year\, we’re honoring the 30th Anniversary of the groundbreaking HBO Horror Anthology\, Tales From the Crypt\, which aired June 10\, 1989\, to July 19\, 1996. Dress as your favorite re-animated corpse\, a memorable character from the series or movies\, or whatever the heck you want (even if it’s no costume at all) because it’s a HALLOWEEN PARTY and we at GLAHW do not judge – except for the costume contest\, we’ll kinda be judging that. \nBe the Maniac at Large and enter the Costume contests\, show a little Abra Cadaver with the prizes in the Penny Social\, dance along to a Werewolf Concerto. Gates open to our favorite Bordello of Blood\, the Berkley VFW Post 9222\, October 19\, 2019\, at 8:00 p.m. \nThis is a CASH ONLY BAR\, so please bring CASH to buy your booze. There is an ATM located across the street for your convenience so you can get CASH TO BUY YOUR BOOZE (and soft drinks for our beloved Designated Drivers). There will be light nibbles so you can leave the extra limbs in the car for the ride home. \n21+\, please.  $10.00 in advance and $10 at the door. You may use a credit/debit card to purchase party tickets and raffle tickets. \nAdvance Ticket Purchasers will also receive ten (10) free tickets to the Penny Social for a chance at fantastic gifts.
